You Want a Change

There are several reasons why homeowners want to update their homes.

Out-Dated

Your home feels out-dated with older appliances, cabinets and countertops. The home layout feels constrained and confining.

Cramped

Your rooms are small and cramped; perhaps opening up the floorplan by removing a wall or two.

Dreams

Magazines and remodeling TV shows result in new and exciting dreams for your home, but you have concerns and questions about feasibility.

Uncertainty

Should you remodel? Should you build a new home? How long will the it take? How much will it cost?

You need some advice

That’s where Tim Conn of TC Enterprise can help. Tim has been helping homeowners on the Treasure Coast make these types of decisions for over thirty years.

Tim will sit with you and listen to your plans and help put together an overall project that will meet or exceed your dreams. He will go over all your areas of concerns such as:

  • Overhead Cost

TC Enterprise, Tim’s firm, is small with almost no overhead so you’re not paying for the staff or offices of a large contractor. What you pay goes directly into your project.

  • Cost Overruns

You’ve heard horror stories from your friends about huge cost overruns for what seemed like minor changes. Typically cost overruns happen either because the contractor’s initial estimate was wrong or changes requested by the client during the course of the project are far more expensive than the client was expecting. This is often due to the contractor not adequately communicating what the changes will entail.

  • Wrong Contractor Estimate

When the contractors estimate is wrong, it is usually because the scope of the project was not clearly defined in a written contract.

Tim makes sure that will not happen by ensuring that the scope is well defined and understood by all involved before starting work. There are some cases that are outside the control of the contractor such as changes in the prices of lumber, copper or other construction materials. Tim will explain that to you before the work starts and alert you to any changes that occur as the project progresses.

  • Work Supervision

As you can imagine, supervision of the project as it moves forward is vital to avoid cost overruns and delays. Once again, because TC Enterprise is a boutique firm, Tim is intimately involved. You may even find Tim on site working side-by-side with his workforce for extended periods of time. He knows what’s going on at all times.

He wants you to know as well. Each morning, Tim will call you and explain his work plan for the day and at the end of the day he will report on progress. If any issues arose during the day, Tim will communicate with you a let you know if the budget has to be changed. He will request a meeting with you before moving forward so you are always in control.

  • Cat’s Away the Mice Will Play

A concern that many snowbirds have is that as soon as they leave, work will stop on their project. Not on a TC Enterprise project. Tim will continue to call you with his daily plans and progress reports whether you are on the Treasure Coast or the Ivory Coast.

  • A Partnership for Success

TC Enterprise considers every project as a partnership between you, the owner, Tim, and the Project Manager.

Congratulations on a job well done! It was a pleasure to work with you and your people. You delivered what you promised and the final results of the renovation project were beyond our wildest expectations. Read More...
